Alpha Start is a one-day, AI-assisted bootcamp that takes CSUDH students from a rough idea to a tested concept and a first pitch. No experience or business background needed.

How it works 1 Bring an idea Any major, any stage. Come with a problem you want to solve, or join a team that has one.
2 Build with AI tools Work through customer discovery, a value proposition, and a simple business model, using AI tools to move faster.
3 Pitch it End the day by pitching to your peers and Incubator mentors, and leave with a plan for your next step.

Who it's for Current CSUDH students who want to try entrepreneurship in a low-risk, single-day format.
How it grew The format was rebuilt on student feedback: from a 40-hour program, to 8 hours, to today's one-day bootcamp.
